Congratulations to our recipe competition round 1 winner!
The Baked Unicorn of The Smiths Catering and Events Co won our hearts in round 1. The photo alone was good enough to eat! She creatively incorporated our CBD elixir into a delicious spiced hibiscus holiday tea. Not only did the photo grab our attention, her flavors were unique and we loved that she didn’t go crazy on the sugar, using date syrup in the drink itself as well as creating her own gorgeous hibiscus sugar for the glass rim. This tea feels holiday festive and cozy at the same time!

Desert Christmas Spiced Tea
1/2 cup dried Hibiscus
1/4 cup dried passionflower
1tbl Whole Cloves
4 Cups water
Fresh Date Syrup to taste (I suggest 1-2 tablespoons per cup)
Muru CBD Elixir ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
Step By Step:
•Steep Hibiscus, passionflower, and spices in water over medium heat until it becomes a deep pink, for a more intense flavor let steep for up to 24 hours. •strain tea mixture through cheesecloth into new clean pot.
•Combine 1-2 droppers full of Muru CBD Elixir with 2 table spoons date Syrup and combine with Hibiscus tea
• pour over ice in Hibiscus Sugar rimmed glass and enjoy!
Combine 1 cup Sugar with 2 table spoons dried crushed hibiscus flowers.
